Product Description

The triple eccentric wafer type butterfly valve metal & soft seated by AIRA can be utilized for bi-directional flow control without any leakage and very low fugitive emissions. It is also an ideal valve for cryogenic applications (down to -196° C), steam-based applications (up to 550°C), throttling and positive isolation applications. This valve features a triple offset sealing system that enables smooth and friction-free movement of disc together with body seat and disc seal.  The third offset therefore prevents rubbing. In order to achieve a snug fit, the seal ring on the disc energizes the seat on the body. Grafoil layers are sandwiched between metal laminations to construct a laminar seal. The compressive forces when generated decide where the resiliency of the seal flexes or energizes. It also enables slight body deformations caused by temperature fluctuations without jamming. It ensures a uniform wedging effect and zero leakage.
